Sports Medicine Australia (WA) provides State Sporting Organizations the opportunity to take part in annual Drugs in Sport education. This 1-hour workshop encompasses the Australian Sports Anti-Doping Authority’s (ASADA) “Pure Performance” anti-doping education and gives athletes, coaches and support personnel the chance to ask questions in a face-to-face learning environment.

Presentations can be tailored to sports unique anti-doping needs and this session is ideal for athletes who are eligible for drug testing. (i.e. athletes who are part of ASADA’s Registered Testing Pools and State Representative Teams or Squads.)

This session can be delivered as a stand-alone education opportunity or as an addition to ASADA’s Level 1 Anti-doping e-learning course.

SMA strongly encourages all sports to make annual face-to-face anti-doping workshops part of their elite, high performance and development programs education calendars.
